WHAT WE WILL BE DOING?
The support group is led by experienced therapist Jaana Saar (read below). Practical and therapeutic techniques will be used that you can experience while exploring your own theme – constellation, body psychotherapy, psychotherapy, structural symbols, metaphorical techniques, etc. You will also be able to apply them in your own work, combining them with your own personal skills and techniques. If necessary, theoretical explanations, diagrams and charts will be included to help you understand the reasons for using these techniques.
WHY AM I DOING THIS?
Life has long reflected to me that there is a need. Perhaps more and more therapists (new to learning and already practicing + from other fields), and a few smaller teams, were asking for help to work privately with them. As this was of great help to them, I decided to offer this opportunity publicly. Additionally, I work and support myself in the same way to stay in shape. I also have several supervisors/supportive therapists, with different skills, who help me. Why do I have more than one? Because they use different techniques and approaches. Also, availability is important. If one is busy, you need to be able to contact another. A therapist’s support network is his or her resource, and through the ‘Therapists Support Group’ this is what I want to offer you. I continue to educate myself and take part in courses or training on an ongoing basis. Why? Because all techniques, methods and formats are constantly evolving. It’s exciting to see how classic methods have become the basis and new techniques and approaches expand the possibilities.
