Therapies

What is therapy?

In therapy, the client and therapist meet. The goal of the collaboration is to find relief or solutions for issues that are active in the client's life or have persisted for a long time. Therapy is a mixture of various practical approaches, techniques, and knowledge. I have acquired training and experience to guide clients through psychological and emotional processes. These are necessary to, for example, alleviate different internal tensions, reveal cause-and-effect relationships, understand personality development, defense mechanisms, and other aspects needed for healing.

My thought

Human development does not occur according to ideal forms and rules.

Learning process

If you wish to come to therapy with me, it is not important to know in advance which method is the most appropriate. In my work, I use person-centered psychotherapy, body psychotherapy, and systemic approaches. The approach is developed on the spot, during the session. However, if you know exactly what you want, please let me know when booking your appointment.

My therapeutic approach

Human development does not follow ideal forms and rules. Each symptom and condition is associated with different personalities, life experiences, and family history. Therefore, I see that combining different methods is an effective approach. However, I am always prepared for those who prefer a specific approach. The therapist's flexibility to adapt to the client, and not the other way around, is one of the principles I firmly adhere to. My task is to accompany the client on the journey they wish to undertake.

Choosing the therapist

Successful collaboration depends on the compatibility between people. The method alone does not guarantee results. The attitude and humanity of the therapist, which create an open space, are also important. I always recommend researching the therapist's training, experience, and recommendations from others, and trusting your intuition. If it inspires enough trust, book an appointment. After the first meeting, it will be clear whether you want to continue or need to search for a suitable therapist further. Try boldly to find out who is the most suitable for you.

How to notice changes?

Letting go of expectations opens doors to new possibilities. How to let go? By thinking: 'I don't know what will start to change, how it will look and feel. I am ready to discover.' The less we focus on how things should be, the more we begin to see how they are. Common changes: easier breathing, a freer state in the body, alleviation of symptoms, noticing new opportunities, warming of relationships, growth in courage and self-confidence, better emotional self-regulation.

Psychotherapy

On Spot / In Zoom

Is a form of therapy that encompasses various approaches. Keywords include psychodynamic (S. Freud, G. Jung, Melanie Klein, A. Adler, D. Winnicott, etc.), humanistic or client-centered (C. Rogers), cognitive-behavioral (A. Ellis, A. Beck), and considers the individual's family system.

I look forward to seeing you in psychotherapy if you want to learn how to better manage your inner world and cultivate spiritual power.

When is the time to come to psychotherapy?

People come to psychotherapy for various reasons. To address psychological concerns, disruptive behaviors and thought patterns, to understand themselves and what is happening in their lives, and to seek solutions. What is often not known is that one can also come for personal development, to get to know oneself better, or to find answers to the underlying causes of emotional states, mechanisms, and the growth of personality structure.

Body psychotherapy

This form of therapy primarily focuses on exploring body-mind connections and bodily impulses, combined with the principles of psychotherapy. It seeks to understand the links between developed bodily reactions and personal development, and how these have shaped body usage, posture, perception, and influenced the mind. The body expresses a person's developmental story emotionally, physically, and mentally.

What happens during a session?

During a body psychotherapy session, frozen impulses and movements are activated, which releases trapped emotions. This is achieved by creating a figurative simulation of the situation where the impulse was locked. Safely and with specific body psychotherapeutic techniques, the client is guided through the body process. Overall, the focus is on finding and gradually releasing defensive and obstructive body reaction patterns.

For Russian-language body-psychotherapy, please contact us to arrange a session with an interpreter.

Session duration: 1h - 1,15h | Price: 90€
